In small groups, hear first-hand the personal stories and experience of inspiring female entrepreneurs from emerging markets, and engage in an intimate discussion to build a deepened perspective of what is really needed to empower them for success.
Special Guest Speaker: Queen Máxima – UN Secretary-General’s Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance for Development (UNSGA)
Learn from best practices from key actors on what’s already working to address the entrepreneurs’ needs, through several dialogue tables facilitated by key actors from the financial sector, women’s organisations and NGOs around 3 critical themes: 1) Women’s leadership and talent development; 2) Non-financial services (financial skills, networking and market linkages); and 3) Access to financial services (SME financing, micro financing). After sharing best practices at the table, this session will tackle sticky issues and be solution oriented. There will be a call for action. We will co-create new possibilities and solutions. Participants are encouraged to build new partnerships and concrete action oriented outcomes.
Time to pitch the new partnerships, harvest the day and commit to action plus signing ceremony (5min).
